It’s the most wonderful time of the year. That’s right, it’s time for top 10 lists! Bryan and Taylor discuss the year in televisionĀ and reveal their top 10 TV shows of 2016, including talk of exciting new podcast developments (0:55), surprising shows that made the cut (3:15), consensus television (7:10), tragicomedies (12:15), and a show Bryan watches that Taylor doesn’t (16:00). They also cover the new “Seinfeld” (21:05), the one show they apparently agree on (24:50), and their best shows of the year (33:30).
It’s that time of year where we all pretend the movies are okay! Bryan and Taylor did some double duty this week to bring you talk of the latest and greatest from the cineplex.
They discuss the tension between the opening of “Nocturnal Animals” and the rest of the movie (8:40), Taylor’s favorite moment of seeing “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” on opening night (19:10), and the surprising boldness and optimistic sadness of the filmĀ (21:15).
