Bryan and Taylor discuss “You’re The Worst” and its shift from comedy (1:10-10:15), Aziz Ansari’s “Master of None” and its distinct take on the world (10:15-16:50) as well as HBO’s “Project Greenlight” and the ensuing “The Leisure Class” (16:50-21:55). Then, Taylor pimps his new column (http://gainesvillescene.com/2015/11/17/hidden-in-plain-view-unreal-2/) and they tease next week’s discussion over TV fake-outs.
They went missing last week, but now Bryan Faux and Taylor Gaines are back! This week, they cover the shake-up that’s changing the corner of the internet that covers pop culture, including Grantland, Hitfix and Vox, and mourn the death of the Hollywood Prospectus podcast. They also discuss the state of television and get in some quick hits on “Review,” Oscar season, movies in general and “Project Greenlight.”
(The episode number that Bryan says at the beginning will slightly differ for the first seven or so episodes because Bryan initially had more of a general media podcast. As far as the Fauxworthy TV Podcast goes, this is number six.)

It’s a new week — hell, a new month even! And that means it’s time for a new edition of the Fauxworthy podcast!
This week, Bryan and I discuss HBO’s “Project Greenlight” and our views on reality television as well as Matt Damon’s recent journey into the media maelstrom that is the Internet in 2015. We also discuss “Empire,” which might be my new favorite thing that exists even though I have only seen one episode.
